Virginia Waters

Hey Everyone! :) Today my best friend and I took a trip to Virginia Waters as we haven't been in aaages! I share the car with my brother (aka I never get to use it) and today he didn't need it until later so we decided to go, yet we picked the day where the weather couldn't make up it's mind XD

On the way there it was pouring with rain so I thought oh no as soon as we get there we will have to turn around. Luckily it stopped raining, then it went really sunny, then rained some more and then sunny again and then we started heading back and it started to rain again :') So unlucky! But we had out umbrellas so it was fine. Typically as soon as we got home and for the rest of the evening the weathers been quite nice :') Never mind we will have to go again soon when the weather's better :)

When you get there and you turn left there's this cute waterfall which we always visit when we go, although there wasn't any water coming from it which is a bit weird but it's still cool to see. My brother usually walks along the top of it but we were too scared and with it being damp we thought we'd be sensible XD

Not too far along there were some ruins which I have never seen before! I don't know how I've missed them as they're not small! But it was quite cool to explore :) It's so calm and peaceful walking around and you can look out onto the lake which is really pretty :)

So we had a nice little chat together, catching up after being away at different Uni's whilst walking around and enjoying the scenery :) It was really quite seeing as the weather kept changing it's mind but it was really nice :) We will definitely have to go again soon :) 

PS. Sorry for the slightly overexposed photos XD I'm still learning with manual mode :)
