Notting Hill- Portobello Road Market

Hey Everyone! Hope you're all well :)
A few weekends ago I attended a #BloggersGetHulaFit event at Notting Hill so I decided to visit Portobello Road Market before hand. PS. Apologies for the picture heavy post! :)

We decided to get off at Notting Hill Gate Station and we weren't sure where to go but we just followed the masses of people. It was soo busy! But it was exciting at the same time. The market was a short walk away and there were so many quirky stalls and shops everywhere. Some stalls had really cool stuff and quite a lot had bric-a-brac and odd bits and bobs, but it was cool to see :)

It was really weird, some places wouldn't let you take photos but I don't really know why XD Our ideas were.. they weren't allow to sell those items, they were fake, they didn't want people stealing their ideas or simply it annoys them when people take photos but don't buy anything.. I don't know, do you know? XD

After a while all the vintagey looking things stopped and there were loads of food stalls, it all smelt soo good but we didn't get anything as I was about to go to a fitness class and then go to lunch afterwards XD

Finally, we made our way towards the building where the event was taking place and we found this really cool painted wall so we decided to take some photos there!

It was a really fun day and I'm in love with the pretty houses painted in every colour, it just made everything look so much nicer! Especially with the pink blossom trees everywhere! Have you ever been to Portobello Market? :)

  3. This looks like a lot of fun - great idea to take the opportunity to look around! It reminds me of the market stalls in Barcelona by the coast.. except there definitely weren't any tasty looking doughnuts and brownies there! Yum! :)

  7. I would love to go to something like this one day!! They always seem kind of fun, but chaotic too! I loved the pictures of the watches, necklaces, and flowers! Especially of the huge tree!! I want a tree like that someday! Are those earrings in that guitar case?? Those masks are a little creepy to be honest! Something that if I had an attic, I'd store there for the rest of my life lol

XD I think there were loads of bits and bobs in the guitar case, earrings and I think a few brooches as well :) Haha they are but they're also quite cool XD I think we have some at home, like a massive one hanging on my brothers wall XD xx

I love going to Portobello road when I have a concert there (we do concerts at the big orange church on Kensington Park Road) but I've never fully explored it- ONE day I will be organised and get to my concert rehearsal very early so I can have a full explore!x
