ICE Bar London

Hey everyone! Hope you're all well! I was recently invited to the Ice Bar in London along with a few other bloggers and we had a really nice evening! I'd never been before but I'd always wanted to go and I know a few friends that have been before and said it was quite cool :)

I wasn't really sure what to expect on the night and the event was from 6-9 so I thought surely we can't be in the ice room for that long or we'd all freeze. But there were actually a few different rooms upstairs and downstairs which were normal temperature and with bars and booths so you could sit and have a drink and chat if you wanted :)

So the evening started off with cocktails which were vodka, elderflower and prosecco. They were actually really nice and refreshing and there were also loads of little canapes floating around the room too. There were loads more bloggers there than I thought it would be so it was nice to talk to and meet new people :) Afterwards we had a little talk where they told us more about the Ice etc and then we were split into 3 groups before going in to the Ice room.

Just before I went in someone said 'people expect it to be cold but it still hits you as you don't expect it to be that cold' which is so true! You get a cool cape with thick gloves attached but it is still so cold in there but it's a really cool experience! This year's theme was Rock and it's crazy to see all of the detailing in the ice! It was actually much smaller than I thought it would be, but it was still a nice size. For my drink I picked the Monkey Wrench which was nice and it came in an ice glass which was sooo cold to drink from but really fun haha! :)

I had a really lovely time and met some really friendly ladies. I'm glad I finally got to go to the Ice Bar and I will have to go again! :)

I also attempted to vlog the event if you wanted to give it a watch! Annoyingly I should have talked more whilst I was there but I felt awkward vlogging in public haha :)
