Hey everyone! I hope you're all well! I've had a pretty chilled out weekend and I pretty much spent it relaxing and watching different series :) I finished Mushi-Shi last weekend which I really enjoyed watching, it's an anime and the episodes are quite bittersweet, but I really like the story lines and the animations :) I'm all caught up with The Good Doctor which I'm also really enjoying and I've also started watching Chicago Med as I wanted something kind of similar as I like those kind of Doctor/ER/petty drama kind of shows haha :) 

Second Snow Day

Hey everyone! I hope you're all well and enjoying the second round of snow if you're from England! It's so strange to have so much snow here, especially this late into the year! 

Also, I passed my transfer viva!!! I feel so relieved, and I'm glad that I passed! So usually around halfway through your PhD you need to write a transfer thesis which is a mini thesis/bigger dissertation of a literature review, your results and discussion so far and what you're going to do for the rest of your PhD and then you have a viva with 2 internal examiners where they ask you lots of questions on it all. If you pass then you can carry on with your PhD and if you fail then you leave with an MPhil, so I'm very glad that I passed!

Snow Day and DIY Crochet Ear Warmers

Hey everyone! I hope you're all well and you've enjoyed the snow! I'm so surprised at how much there was, especially down South! I've had a really nice week, my mum came to stay with me for a few days and she did loads of lovely mum things such as cook dinner and look after me and clean and tidy my flat for me :') She's such a cutie! Now I just need to keep everything lovely and organised :)

I've also been watching The Good Doctor which I'm really enjoying! It's a cross between Grey's Anatomy and House and it follows an autistic doctor who also has savant syndrome. I think I've pretty much cried in every episode so far haha! I'm up to date with it now so I'd love to hear if you have any TV show recommendations!

Hey everyone! I hope you're all well and that you're enjoying the sunshine even if it's really cold! My week has been pretty much the same, filled with experiments and gym haha! I've been set a viva data for my transfer thesis on the 12th March so I need to start revising and fingers crossed I pass and I can continue on with my PhD! 

Blue Jumper and Adidas Superstar

Hey everyone! I hope you're all well! And I hope you all had a lovely Valentine's Day! I went to Five Guys with my lovely PhD friend and gym buddy and had a burger and fries, their fries are so good! And then afterwards we went to Wahaca for churros, which are always good! And then on the weekend my best friend from home popped by and she bought me some flowers! And we spent the day chatting, eating lots of food and watching Black Mirror. I'm so glad I have really great friends and if I'm being honest, this year is probably up there with one of my favourite Valentine's/Galentine's days! :)

The last couple of weeks have been quite busy and tiring with work and experiments and life, I've finally finished writing my transfer thesis, so tomorrow I will print and bind it.. Now I just need to pass my viva so I can progress with my PhD! *Fingers crossed!*
