DIY Bronze Plant Pot with Succulents

Hey everyone! Hope you're all well! I've had quite a nice weekend, I went to the pub on Friday with some people from work and then I ended up going home to visit my family the next day which was really nice :) I decided to try and do a little DIY since I was at home and had all of my crafty things however it took much longer than I thought it would haha despite it being so simple! I also kind of underestimated how long it would take for each layer to dry but never mind, better late than never! :)

Floral Wrap Dress

Hey everyone! Hope you're all well! I've had a really long week in labs but it feels good to be focused on my lab work and doing lots of experiments :) Although on Friday I had to extract DNA from my cells that I've been growing and I hadn't done it before and there wasn't really anyone around to help and I had a student shadowing me so I got all flustered and it took me forever and I'm pretty sure she now thinks I'm useless haha! Friday afternoons are not the right time to be trying new experiments out haha! And then I guess I'll find out tomorrow whether I managed to extract any DNA if not I'll be repeating my experiments again.. joy haha! :)

Woodland Floral Dress

Hey everyone! I hope you're all well! I've had quite a productive week back at labs and it feels nice to be getting some data and cracking on with more experiments. I also finally bought a new laptop! It's so nice and it actually works and doesn't constantly overheat! I haven't edited a video on here yet but hopefully it takes less than 2 hours to render a 3 minute video haha! :) I also wanted to say thank you so much for everyone's kind words these past 2 blog posts, I really appreciate them! :) 

Khaki Dress

Hey everyone! Hope you're all well! I think my eyes are finally on the mend, I can now start reducing my eyedrops by a drop a week so hopefully in about 6 weeks I'll be back to 1 or 2 drops a day and it will stay like that. I also had a steroid injection into my knee (I have arthritis in some of my joints) on Wednesday so I've been resting all week. Hopefully my joints and immune system will calm down soon and I won't need more injections for a while :')

Floral Skirt

Hey everyone! Hope you're all well! I had a really nice long weekend although it's gone by so quickly, I'm not ready to get back in the lab tomorrow! I've been having some health problems recently which isn't too great and I've got a huge flare of uveitis in my eyes (inflammation) so I've been taking eye drops every 2 hours to try and calm them down however I don't think it's really working. I'm seeing the doctor again tomorrow so hopefully it's better than a few days ago otherwise I don't know if I will need a steroid injection into my eye again or something! And now I go to the adult part of the hospital so I think I'd have to be awake and I just can't :') nope haha! I'm hoping it won't come to that and the eye drops are doing their job :)

Lavender Dress

Hey everyone! Hope you're all well! I took a week off work and it was really nice to relax, watch films and series and enjoy the sunshine! I watched Stranger Things which I really liked and I hope they make another season and then I also started watching Grey's Anatomy and Prison Break :) I also went to the beach and the New Forrest and caught loads of Pokemon which was nice, but now it's back to labs :)
