Floaty Sleeves and Floral Print


Hey everyone! I hope you're all well! I've been busy writing away on my Transfer Thesis, it's neverending haha! But it's slowly getting there :) I've also been helping mum out at the allotment and it's coming along really nicely! Things are growing in the greenhouse and a few of the strawberry plants have flowers so they should be coming along in the next few months! :)

Today I thought I would share with you this dress that I picked up in Sainsbury's. I don't think I own anything from TU but I actually really like this dress and I'm so glad that I tried it on! I bought my usual size which is an 8 but ideally I would have sized down. In these photos I safety pinned it a bit at the back and wore it with a little belt but I'm going to ask mum to put a little pleat in the back to cinch it in a tiny bit so I can also wear it without a belt. Maybe it's meant to be worn as more of a straight kind of fit but I prefer it taken in a little bit at the waist as I think that's more flattering on my figure :)
In these photos I wore it with black heels but last week I bought some tan sandals so I think it would go really nicely with them too! :)

    I have a vintage dress which is incredibly similar to this except the sleeves have scalloped edges and the skirt is double layered- you look marvellous in it! I hope the Thesis is finished soon!x
