You might have already seen me talking about this scarf in my October Favourites but it really has become my favourite accessory! I like that it has a hint of pink mixed in with the reds and that the two sides are different, so it's like two scarves in one :) I was a bit wary with it being huge and bigger than me at first but now I love that about it and wouldn't get a smaller scarf. It's perfect for wearing around my cold student house and doubling up as a blanket :) I got this particular one from New Look but they seem to be in every shop nowadays :)

What do you think about the tartan trend? Do you have a tartan scarf too? :)

Dinner at Wagamama

Wagamama Ramen

I finally went to Wagamama's! I've heard so much great stuff but I just never went :) Last month, two Saturdays in a row we ended up going there for dinner :)
Wagamama Chicken Raisukaree
Chicken Raisukaree :)

The first Saturday, Hannah and I went to West Quay to do some shopping, we soon got hungry as shopping and spending money is tiring so we decided to have Wagamamas :) I didn't know what to get and I always hear about people getting Ramen Noodles so I decided to get 'Wagamama Ramen'.. It was okay but I didn't really like the noodles, they were a bit too stodgy for my liking. Hannah got the 'Chicken Raisukaree' which tasted really nice and she got 'Chilli Squid' which was amaaaazing! :)

The second Saturday, Hannah and I had just got to the gym when I turned around and said 'Do you fancy going shopping today?' To which we obviously said yes XD So Hannah, Catherine and I went to West Quay again to chip away at our overdraft a bit more :) And so we decided to go to Wagamama again :) This time round I ordered the 'Yaki Soba' and it were really nice! We had the 'Chilli Squid' again, Hannah copied me and Catherine got the 'Chicken Katsu Curry' :)

What's your favourite thing at Wagamama? :)

Treble Clef Card DIY

Handmade Treble Clef Card DIY

How simple and effective is this musical card? It was so easy to make and I like the monochrome feel to it. It would have been better if the muscial score was cream to match but never mind :)

1. I started off by copying the template of the treble clef to the reverse of textured card and I carefully cut it out .
2. I also cut out a rectangle out of black card to the desired size that I was after.

3. I then lined up the clef on the card how I wanted it to be and traced out a similar outline onto the photocopied musical score, not gonna lie this took me ages as I kept doing it wrong XD

4. I then stuck it all down and added 2 little blue hearts to the corner.. tadaa!

And there's my finished card! It was so easy to make and I think it looks quite good :) What do you think? :)

Freshers Take 3- Friday

On Friday, during the day was our Freshers Fayre so we decided to join the ridiculously long queue early in the morning and get loads of freebies :) The fayre was quite good actually this year, we got slices of Domino's, I won a 1/4 chicken at Nandos and we got loads of sweets, popcorn and free shots of alcohol :)

I love this photo of us! :)
In the evening I went to Switch and I decided to clash my patterns and wear my white stripy top and floral shorts from H&M :)

So that pretty much concludes my first week of my 3rd year :) I thought I'd pretend to be a Fresher one last time and do something everynight XD I was definitely feeling it the next day, I think I'm getting too old for this, but I'm glad we did it :) If you want to see what else I got up to you can here :)

What do you think about clashing prints? Is it a big no? :) And what did you get up to during Freshers? :)

Freshers Take 3- Thursday

During the day on Thursday, Uni were having a 'Chill Out Day' Which included different things such as yoga, pilates, zumba etc :)
So I decided to start off the morning with some Yoga, accompanied by Adina, and then in the afternoon we went to the 'Arts and Crafts' event. I'm a bit of a geek in that sense and I love doing crafty things, there were a mixture of things that you could do, but we decided to go for knitting and crochet XD followed by giant jenga :)

In the evening we all headed out to Cafe Parfait where they have their Chocolate night :) The following Thursday I decided to go to Parfait again as I really enjoyed it :) So you can read about my night here :)

Click here to see more of what I got up to during Freshers Week! :)

Hope you're all having a good day! Do you like doing Arts and Crafts? What's your favourite? :)

October Favourites

I always enjoy reading everyone's favourites for the month so I thought I would start my own! October went very quickly and it was also my birthday so I got a few goodies which soon became my favourites :)

Whittard Luxury White Hot Chocolate

My good friend Ali bought me this hot chocolate for my birthday, at first I was a bit skeptical as sometimes white hot chocolates aren't nice but this is sooo yummy! It's nice and creamy and it's sweet enough (coming from the girl who usually puts 2 sugars in her hot chocolates) So I'm very impressed and when it runs out I think I will be trying more of their flavours :)

Pandora Earrings

My best friends Ruth, Laura and Sam all chipped in to buy me these beautiful earrings, they're the pink birthstone for  October which makes them extra special :)

Accessorize Bracelet

I love this bracelet. So much! It's so pretty yet simple and elegant so it's definitely my favourite! My lovely friend Ines bought me this for my birthday, she has such good taste!

Earrings, Barcelet and Necklace- Z for Accessorize

My dear friend Cho bought me this set for my birthday, my friends all spoiled me, In it came these pretty, gold plated earrings, bracelet and a necklace in a lovely aqua chalcedony, I like that they're so simple and elegant :)

Tartan Scarf from New Look

I looooove this scarf! When I first saw it I wasn't sure if it suited me as it's soo big but I really liked it so I thought never mind that it's bigger than me I want it! I pretty much wear it everyday, it's so warm and it's perfect to just throw over your shoulders like a shawl/blanket if you're feeling a bit chilly, perfect for student housing! :)

Attack on Titan

If you haven't watched this you should! I'm not really one for anime, although I do like watching the films, such as Princess Mononoke and Ponyo etc so when Catherine and Liam recommended this series I gave it a watch. The episodes are roughly 20 minutes each so you go through them quite quickly and I think I watched the series in a week! It's so so good though! I can't wait for the new season to come out :)

Orange is the New Black

I know I'm a bit late with jumping on this bandwagon but better late than never, after the girls in labs were talking about how good it was I went home and started watching it! I am hooked, it's so good! I would not survive in prison but that's not the point haha! Again I watched the first season in a week XD sorry Uni work! And now I'm taking it a bit slower with the second season haha, another series I would recommend! :)

So they're my October favourites! What have you been loving this October? And do you have any series to recommend for this month? :)
