Hey everyone! Hope you're all well! I've had a very hectic week, I got back from holiday Monday evening, spent all of Tuesday packing and getting ready for my move to Southampton on Wednesday, I then had to clean the flat and go to IKEA to get furniture as it was unfurnished and make it all and I started my PhD on Thursday :') It's all coming along nicely though which is good :)
A few weeks ago I went to Cahoots with Pardis and two friends. Cahoots has been on our radar about 6 months and we finally went.. and it was amazing!
If you haven't heard of Cahoots it's basically an old, unused tube station in London that they've converted into a bar and it's pretty cool! Their attention to detail is insane from the decorations to the names of everything and even the staff, it's like you've stepped back in time! It's hidden away in Kingly Court in the centre of London and if it wasn't for the subtle signs we would have walked right passed it XD
When you get to the door there's a really lovely fellow in character that rings down to see if there's any space (I would advise booking in advance) and I love the way they all talk to each other! You then walk down the steps and you can hear sounds you hear at the tube station, you're given a little paper ticket and a magazine which doubles up as a drinks menu and there's a free cloackroom. Entrance is free but drinks were a bit on the pricier side, so around £10 but for London and the experience that's pretty common I think :)
Pardis and I loved it and we would definitely go again! The staff are also so lovely and go out of their way to help you and the details inside are amazing! The also go around bringing you popcorn and water and you can get seats in an old, converted tube carriage!
